Top Spikeball® players in Ottawa
Hello Spikers,
Today we will be talking about the top Spikeball® players in the Ottawa region!
Let’s start by explaining how the league worked over the summer. The league was free to play and come on your own terms. You had to sign up with a friend and you could come out when ever you were available on the two days we played (Wednesdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 6 pm every week). Games were posted on the Spikeball® app (Apple / Android). We would then match up the teams that showed up to play a best of 5 series for the day. The scores of the game were tracked and the winners were awarded 1 point for a win and if they were to sweep the other team(3-0) in the series they were awarded 4 points for the series. The dashboard below highlighted the top Spikeball® teams in Ottawa and created a breakdown of the overall games each team played! The top team in Ottawa was BANDidas who swept every series they played! Look forward to seeing where they go in the future!

Spikeball® ball and the tracker we used to track the individual points.
We started tracking individual stats as well to highlight individual players to build some competitiveness to the league. The overall score of the game was easy to track as the score is tracked by everyone through out the game before each serve. An individual point is counted towards the player who last spiked the ball on the net for a point. The point were then tracked on a tally counters that we put on our wrists. This enabled us to track who the top scoring players were which gave the players some more ownership into each game they played.
We also created a dashboard to highlight the top scoring individual players in Ottawa. This dashboard gave players the spot light in the middle if they scored the most points. The really cool thing about both these dashboards is that both of them are completely interactive and can be filtered to display only your individual stats or your teams stats by simply clicking through! The top individual players in Ottawa were:
