This will also be a place for highlights and from our own Ottawa league. With overviews of the weekly games and things to come around the city!

We will start this one off by explaining what has happened over the summer here in Ottawa. Capital City Roundnet started June 2019. We started the league with just a couple of teams. We played twice every week at Medhurst Park. It was a great summer with more people joining every week. We had amazing weather almost every week and rarely got rained out. Over the summer we had 18 teams sign up through the website and had great success in teaching and fostering a stronger Spikeball® community in the Ottawa area. Roundnet Ontario held a tournament with some of the top teams in the region which some of us made it out to. It was eye opening to play against higher tier teams as Spikeball® has been, to most of us, just a backyard game. Seeing how high the skill ceiling for the game can get, really showed us that there is still so much to improve on and to teach new and experienced players about the game!
We have seen a lot of players with some potential to play at higher levels in the Ottawa area and we look forward to meeting and playing with many more! We are excited for how big the Ottawa Spikeball® community can get and we look are extremely excited to have Capital City Roundnet spread out across Ottawa in the coming years!
